VenueSnap exists to help consumers discover venues, connect with businesses, and create memorable experiences.

We ask everyone using the Services to communicate honestly, act respectfully, and help maintain a trusted resource for our community.

This Acceptable Use Policy explains conduct that is prohibited when using the Services.

Violation of this Policy may result in content removal, account restriction, suspension, termination, removal of a business listing, or other action as described in our Terms of Service. VenueSnap may take action based on the circumstances and information reasonably available to it.

2. Honest Information

Users may not:

• Create fake accounts.
• Misrepresent their identity.
• Submit false inquiries.
• Provide inaccurate or misleading business information.
• Misrepresent venue availability, pricing, amenities, or services.
• Impersonate another individual or business.

3. Respectful Conduct

Users may not:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users.
• Use offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or unlawful language.
• Spam businesses or consumers.
• Submit repeated booking requests intended to disrupt business operations.
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or manipulative conduct.

No Manipulation of Platform Activity

Users may not create, solicit, purchase, exchange, or submit artificial reviews, ratings, favorites, inquiries, engagement, or other activity intended to manipulate the visibility, reputation, ranking, or performance of a business, venue, or listing.

4. Business Listing Standards

Businesses are responsible for ensuring that all information published through the Services remains accurate, complete, and up to date.

Businesses may not:

• Publish misleading descriptions.
• Upload photos they do not own or have permission to use.
• Advertise services they do not actually provide.
• Deliberately misrepresent pricing, features, or amenities.
• Use deceptive marketing practices.

Businesses should promptly update listings whenever important information changes.

VenueSnap reserves the right to verify business information before publishing or continuing to display a listing. VenueSnap may request information reasonably necessary to confirm that a business is legitimate and authorized to represent the venue or services being offered, including information regarding ownership, authority, or the accuracy of material listing claims.

5. Content Standards

You may not upload, publish, or distribute content that:

• Violates another person's intellectual property rights.
• Is fraudulent or deceptive.
• Contains malware, malicious code, or other material intended to compromise or interfere with systems or data.
• Promotes illegal activity.
• Is sexually explicit where prohibited by applicable law.
• Encourages violence or unlawful conduct.

Privacy and Personal Information

Users may not collect, disclose, sell, distribute, or misuse another person's personal information obtained through the Services except as authorized by that person, VenueSnap, or applicable law. Users may not use contact information obtained through VenueSnap to send unsolicited marketing or other communications in violation of applicable law.

6. Platform Security

Users may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system.
• Reverse engineer the Services.
• Interfere with the operation of the Services.
• Upload malicious software.
• Attempt to access information belonging to other users.

7. Automated Access

Unless expressly authorized in writing by VenueSnap, users may not:

• Use bots or automated scripts.
• Scrape listings or other content.
• Collect user information for marketing purposes.
• Attempt to copy, reproduce, or extract substantial portions of the Services or its content.

Circumvention and Competitive Use

Users may not use automated means, scraping, data extraction, or other methods to systematically collect VenueSnap content or data for the purpose of creating or populating a competing service, database, directory, or commercial product, except with VenueSnap's prior written authorization.

8. Intellectual Property

Respect the intellectual property rights of others.

Do not upload photos, logos, descriptions, videos, or other content unless you own the content or have the necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to use and share it through the Services. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to all content you upload, publish, or distribute through the Services.

9. Enforcement

VenueSnap reserves the right to investigate potential violations of this Policy.

To protect consumers, businesses, and the integrity of the Services, VenueSnap may, in its reasonable discretion:

• Remove content.
• Suspend or remove listings.
• Restrict account access.
• Suspend or terminate accounts.
• Decline future participation in the Services.
• Remove businesses that repeatedly violate our standards or whose conduct negatively impacts the trustworthiness, safety, or quality of the Services.
• Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities when required or appropriate.

VenueSnap will make enforcement decisions based on the information reasonably available at the time. Nothing in this Policy requires VenueSnap to investigate every complaint, provide advance notice before taking action, or take any particular enforcement action in every circumstance.
